Exchange Online & MFA – What You Need To Do First

We recently wrote about what you need to do for Skype for Business Online before enabling MFA 

And the same principal applies to Exchange Online..

Step 1: if you have MFA already enabled you need to follow these instructions to use your account to manage Exchange Online with Powershell Click Here

Step 2: Run this command to enable modern authentication in Exchange Online:

This will then stop your Outlook client from continuously prompting you for credentials when you have MFA enabled.

Step 3: Check if Modern Auth is successfully enabled;
